FIORIRA QUEST' ANNO - WILL IT BLOOM THIS YEAR
ephemeral sculpture installations Atina - London 2022
Inspired by T.S.Eliot's poem The Waste Land and the locality of Atina, Italy, Fiorira Quest' Anno was made during the Passagi Atina artist-led residency and shown in the Palazzo Ducale group exhibition in July 2021. In the shape of the traditional shoes of the region (Ciocia), the sculpture was made with muslin, dried grass, mountain mint and found materials. It was reconstructed for the Memento Mori exhibition in hARTslane, London in November 2022, this time the grass was replaced by sheep wool.
