SEW THE WIND
ephemeral sculpture installation
THE SKY IS MOVING SIDEWAYS
Stephens' House and Gardens, London 2022
sculpture trail, curated by Rebekah Dean
A comment on humanity's ineffective attempts to fend off climate change, this ephemeral edifice pretends to be a windbreaker. But the wind seeps through, the poles shake, the seams are ready to become undone, the ink dissolves in the rain. There is nowhere to hide. "Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind."
